Account and data deletion
Last updated 24 October 2026
Access ends when the closure request is accepted. Recovery is available for 30 days. Data deletion follows the recovery period; some records remain under the retention policy.
Customers may request account closure and data deletion while signed in to the Sixty Sip app, or ask customer support to process the request.
Account deletion through the app
- Sign in to the Sixty Sip app with the account to be deleted.
- Open the account section and select the account deletion option.
- Review the consequences and conditions, complete identity verification and confirm the request through the app.
Account deletion through customer support
Customers requiring assistance or unable to access the app may contact support@sixtysip.com to request account deletion. Sixty Sip staff verify account ownership before processing the request.
Customers must not disclose OTP codes, passwords or card details to staff. Contacting support does not confirm approval of the request or completion of data deletion.
After request acceptance
Account access on all devices is revoked immediately upon request acceptance. Customers may recover the original account and points within 30 days of the original request by verifying the phone number and email address with new OTP codes and providing consent. Repeated requests do not extend this period. Recovery is unavailable after the deadline, even if data deletion remains in progress.
Details of retained records
After the recovery period, personal data linked to the account is processed for deletion. This includes names, phone numbers, email addresses, delivery addresses, messages, photos, sign-in credentials, historical copies and files confirmed as belonging to the account.
Exact coordinates and event timestamps are retained for 2 calendar years from the recorded event, using Thailand time, to analyse and plan service areas. This matches the backup retention period. Location records are collected without account identifiers or other personal details.
Member-linked account and delivery-address data enter deletion processing after the 30-day account recovery window, while the exact analytical coordinates and date-time remain until their original expiry.
Account closure and retries do not restart this 2-year lifetime.
Location records contain no name, phone number, email, Member ID or device identifier.
Precise coordinates and timestamps may identify a person when combined with other information. Access is restricted, and these records are not treated as anonymous in all circumstances.
Business records and the minimum supporting evidence required may be retained for specifically stated purposes and periods.
An accepted request does not confirm that deletion across every source has completed.
Backups and restoration
Original backups are not modified to remove individual records and retain their original 2-year lifetime. Account closure and retries do not extend backup retention. Before a backup is restored to service, records due for deletion must be removed from the restored copy so that closed accounts and deleted data are not reinstated.
