SIXTY SIP Seller data policy

Updated 23 October 2026 — for the SIXTY SIP seller app

Sixty Sip uses location data to manage sales sessions, display nearby sellers and analyse historical location density.

Information collected and when

The app collects and sends precise location every 15 minutes only while a sales session is open, including when it is in the background, not in use or the screen is off. The data includes seller ID, sales session ID, date and time, latitude, longitude and accuracy. No location is sent when there is no sales session or after signing out.

The app also sends information needed for seller accounts and work, customer phone numbers entered to award points, redeemed coupon codes, messages sellers choose to send through chat, and notification tokens. QR codes are read on the device. The app does not upload every camera frame.

Who can see the data

The operator's control centre can access location and history to manage sales sessions and analyse location density maps. Customers using the Nearby screen see only the latest location of sellers with an open sales session and coordinates still within the permitted age for display. The Nearby screen does not show sellers' historical GPS records.

Retention and backups

Individual GPS records linked to sellers are retained for at least 731 days for work history and location density map analysis. There is currently no automatic deletion when 731 days have elapsed; records may remain available for review. The 731-day period is a minimum retention period; it is not an automatic deletion deadline. Transactions, chat and other data types follow their respective service retention policies. Backups rotate under the existing backup policy, and a deletion request does not immediately rewrite every historical snapshot.

Acknowledgement and device permissions

Sellers register with the operator and acknowledge the terms. Before requesting location permission, the app also explains its use and offers a choice to accept. Acknowledgement with the operator does not replace Android device permission. Sellers may decline or disable device permissions. Sellers required to send GPS during a sales session must acknowledge the terms and enable precise location, GPS and notifications. Sellers exempted from GPS reporting by an administrator do not need to send location but must still meet other work requirements.

Accounts and chat safety

The app is for company-authorized sellers with company-provisioned accounts. No self-service registration is offered. Sessions last365days; new-device login revokes the previous session and successful password reset revokes all sessions. Session duration is not a transaction-data deletion schedule.

Messages go to the intended Buyer–Seller participant. They are not end-to-end encrypted against the operator. Sellers can report messages or users and block a participant in the app. Reports retain the reporter, conversation, reported message, reason, details, timestamps and moderation outcome for authorized moderators. The reporting system does not reveal the reporter identity to the reported user. Blocking stops new messages in both directions for that pair but preserves history. Reports and moderation records are retained for safety and audit; no scheduled automatic deletion currently exists. Request access, correction or deletion through the contacts below, subject to evidence-retention duties and backups.

Transport uses HTTPS. Firebase Cloud Messaging uses installation identifiers or notification tokens. This release contains no advertisements. QR decoding runs on-device; decoded coupon codes are transmitted to process transactions. This release has no chat photo-upload feature. Read the chat terms.
